Dana VanDen Heuvel

Dana VanDen Heuvel is a widely recognized expert on blogging, podcasting, RSS, Internet communities and interactive marketing trends and best practices and speaks regularly on these topics at industry events.  Prior to Pheedo, Dana founded MarketingSavant, one of the nation's first weblog marketing consultancies, in which he is still active.  Dana has also previously held roles in Internet marketing, salesforce automation and sales operations.

Dana was a featured speaker at the American Marketing Association's Hot Topic series, "Blogs:  Marketing Beyond the Website."  He has also spoken at OMMA, PROMO, the Internet Retailer Conference, LesBlogs 2.0 in Paris, France, and at dozens of other industry events.  Dana is a regular contributor to a variety of industry publications and is often quoted on blogging, social media and Internet marketing trends in MarketingSherpa, Wisconsin Technology Network, Internet Retailer, Event Marketer, Sales and Marketing Management and other publications.  In 2004, Dana won the MarketingSherpa "Best Blog" award for authoring a leading business-to-business marketing weblog at www.danavan.net.

Recognized as one of the "50 People You Should Know" by the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce, Dana is also an advisor to the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College E-Business Program and sits on the board of directors for the Fox Valley Advertising Association and the Milwaukee Interactive Marketing Association.
