As designer and co-founder of Werkbot Studios, Brian has more than 15 years experience in digital strategy and web production. He's worked as a designer, developer, instructor and adjunct professor teaching front end web design and web development process. Brian has served as President of the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (Erie Ad Club) and spoken at several design conferences.
Ryan Bardo is owner of Myriad Core, a web optimization firm in Erie, Pa. While his primary function is managing business development and sales, he excels in working with clients to identify effective web strategies designed to help them reach their business goals. Formally trained in business and technology, Ryan is recognized for his expertise in web strategies, business operations & strategy, and entrepreneurship. Ryan holds a B.S. in business and an M.S. in internet marketing.
Joelyn Bush is an Edinboro University graduate who currently works for the United Way of Erie County as the marketing and communications manager. She has worked with reCAP Mason Jars as a social media consultant, the Erie Community Foundation as director of community impact, and for the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership as director of marketing & communications. She serves on the Advisory Board for Newspapers in Education, is a member of the Public Relations Society of Northwest Pennsylvania, the Erie Ad Club, and the ATHENA Circle of Trust.
Cathy von Birgelen
Cathy von Birgelen is a certified email-marketing professional and strategic-marketing consultant with more than 15 years of experience in e-marketing and business development efforts. She has consulted with many regional and national clients including: GE, Choice Hotels, Proctor & Gamble, Holcombs, Howard Industries, Troyer Farms, Gannon University, Blair.com, and Penn State Erie – The Behrend College. Von Birgelen is the program director of the eMarketing Learning Center.
DaWayne Cleckley is a television production and creative services manager for WQLN Public Media who's worked in the field of multimedia (TV Production, Web Design, Social Media, Print Media and Audio Production) for more than 10 years. He is an Ad Hoc instructor at the Erie Business Center, where he teaches Web Design, e-Marketing, and Marketing. He sits on media advisory boards for Central Tech High School, Fortis, and the Erie Business Center. He is also the board secretary for the Partnership for Erie’s Public Schools.
Josh Curcio is VP and partner of protocol 80, Inc., an inbound marketing agency located in Bradford, PA. Josh has helped businesses of all sizes succeed online, from Fortune 500s to small local businesses. Josh is Inbound Marketing certified, HubSpot certified, and AdWords certified. Janet Coyne is an award-winning graphic designer working in the Erie area in print & web design. Janet is a seasoned professional with over twenty years as a graphic designer, illustrator and trainer. Janet works as an instructor with Adobe software programs.
Carlo Fuda, marketing Director at Mason Jars company, holds a B.S. in Medical Technology and Biochemistry from Gannon University. Before coming to reCAP Mason Jars, Carlo held several roles in Marketing and Consumer Relations with Philips North America in Stamford, Connecticut. Over the course of his professional career, Carlo worked as a sales rep in the U.S. and abroad for AIReS, ARTS Italia, and Fisher Scientific (Thermo-Fisher Scientific), where his territory coverage included corporate accounts like the NIH, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, the CDC, and Pfizer. In the summer of 2013, Carlo participated on CBS’s The American Baking Competition, hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. His greatest passions are family and friends, international travel, cooking, and singing.
Nick Kosanovich Jr.
Nick Kosanovich Jr began his Web Marketing experience four years ago as the Program Coordinator for the eMarketing Special Interest Group and E-marketing Apprentice for the eMarketing Learning Center (eMLC). Since leaving eMLC Nick has moved on and started Long Dog Marketing (now Striking Alchemy), an online marketing agency in Erie, Pennsylvania. He has consulted for Seaway Manufacturing, the eMarketing Learning Center, and the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity of Pennsylvania (VOSH/PA) to name a few.
Jeff has been in the digital marketing game since 2005, working with clients on developing comprehensive strategies involving responsive website design, social media management, search engine optimization, analytics, and email marketing. Jeff is Google Analytics and Google AdWords certified, and frequently conducts presentations for local organizations on digital marketing best practices.
A. J. Miceli
A. J. Miceli has been a faculty member of Gannon University’s Department of Theatre, Communications and Fine Arts since 1975. He has significant experience in sales, marketing and electronic media, including six years as general manager of FOX 66 television. In 1994, Miceli and three partners opened ErieNet, Inc., Erie’s first internet service provider (ISP), which was acquired by Stargate Industries of Pittsburgh in October of 1999. In 2003, Miceli joined FishUSA.com as vice president of marketing.
Dr. Kathleen Noce
Dr. Kathleen Noce is a lecturer in management information systems at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. She has industry experience in systems analysis and design in the financial sector, and information technology management at Mercyhurst College. Dr. Noce is the founder of Partnership Erie, a non-profit organization which provides complimentary Web planning, development, hosting, and maintenance services to Pennsylvania’s non-profit community.
Melissa is an SEO and PPC consultant certified in Google Adwords and Analytics, with more than seven years of experience in campaign management and 10 years in web development and usability. A newbie when Google was founded in 1998, she has watched it morph into the giant that it is today. From the beginning “content is king” has been Google’s mantra. Mel bases her success on the fact that she takes this to heart. While offering services of site audits, campaign management and training she helps her customers understand that organic ranking and ad quality score are based on unique, quality content.
Chris has been Blair.com’s Affiliate/Partnerships Manager since January 2001, and has been working with Blair’s paid search program since September 2004. Since September 2013, he has been managing the Old Pueblo Traders and Bedford Fair affiliate programs. He's been interviewed for articles in publications such as Multichannel Merchant and Marketing Today, and is a frequent speaker at affiliate marketing events, including Affiliate Summits East & West, Performics Client Summit, ACCM and AffiliateFORCE.
Jeff Parnell is a 23-year veteran of the direct marketing industry. He is a board member and former board chairman of the Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) and a member of the adjunct faculty at Gannon University’s Dahlkemper School of Business. From 2000-2007, he served as a vice president with Blair Corporation and led their e-commerce business from start-up to nearly $100 million in sales. Parnell holds bachelor’s and M.B.A. degrees from East Carolina University and recently joined Howard Industries as chief executive officer.
Neal Rabogliatti is the senior e-strategy consultant for Catalyst Connection in Pittsburgh, Pa. Rabogliatti has over 12 years of internet development and marketing experience, specializing in developing strategies for search engine optimization and conversion in the business-to-business and manufacturing sectors. Some of his clients include: PPG, Erie Insurance and the University of Arkansas. Rabogliatti lectures nationally on search engine optimization and is a member of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).
Lesley Ridge is a digital devotee with a penchant for social media. Ridge started Socialution Media, a digital marketing agency, to help build online communities around businesses. Her work landed Ridge on Erie Reader's "40 Under 40" List as well as a nomination for Innovation Collaborative's award for "startup of the year" in 2015.
Prior to her career as an independent contractor, Beth served SECO/WARWICK Corp. as the Communications Director for North America responsible for integrated marketing and organizational communications. She has been involved with the company in a variety of positions including purchasing, estimating and sales prior to assuming her duties in marketing. Previously, she served as Marketing Director for Gannon University.
